Our Mission

Leave & Liberty exists to serve the military community with honest, practical travel knowledge. Every guide, tip, and review is written to help military families travel more for less.

Accuracy

We strive for accuracy in all our content. Travel policies, Space-A procedures, MLA/SCRA rules, and credit card offers change frequently. We update content as new information becomes available and welcome reader corrections.

Military Travel Rules Can Change

Military regulations, Space-A sign-up procedures, PCS travel allowances, and eligibility requirements are set by the Department of Defense and individual commands. We provide general guidance based on current published policies. Always confirm specific rules with your chain of command or local AMC terminal.

Sources & Verification

We cite official sources — DoD instructions, AMC passenger terminal resources, credit card issuer terms — wherever possible. When we share personal experience or insider tips, we make that clear.

Updates & Corrections

When we discover an error or outdated information, we correct it promptly. Substantial updates include a note indicating when the content was last reviewed. If you spot an error, please let us know.

Editorial Independence

We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews or recommendations. Affiliate relationships and sponsorship opportunities do not influence our editorial content. When content is sponsored or contains affiliate links, we disclose it clearly using our disclosure components.

No Pay-to-Play

We do not sell editorial placements. If a credit card or product appears in our guides, it's because we believe it offers value to the military community — not because someone paid for the mention.
